Christmas Cards by London’s Emerging Menswear Designers

R&M Leathers, Stefan Cooke, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Alighieri, Monad London and Bianca Saunders each debut a Christmas card, created specially for Another Man

This Christmas, we asked six of our favourite London-based emerging designers to create us a Christmas card, and this is what they came up with. So from them, and us, have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

R&M Leathers (lead image)

For her Christmas card, Ruby Mariani of leatherwear brand R&M Leathers created a collage on leather, featuring studs, which she then Xeroxed.

Stefan Cooke

For theirs, Stefan Cooke and his partner Jake Burt created a multi-layered piece; a card, on top of graph paper, covered in silver stars – reflecting their clever, intricate approach to fashion.

Ludovic de Saint Sernin

Naturally, Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s card features his signature design: the lace-up eyelet brief, possibly the most sensual piece of men’s fashion in the 2010s.

Monad London

Daniel Olatunji’s brand Monad London is based around craft, and the beauty of imperfection – pillars which are expressed in his lovely Christmas card for us, which features an angel, cut from cloth.

Alighieri

Rosh Mahtani’s jewellery brand Alighieri derives its name and much of its inspiration from 14th-century Italian poet, Dante – which feeds into her Christmas card for us, too, seen below.

Bianca Saunders

Bianca Saunders is rapidly gaining attention for the sharp, minimalist tailoring of her eponymous label – an essence that is visible in her card for us, which was made using those simplest of materials: a pencil and sheet of white paper.
