Exclusive: Harry Styles Stars in a New Gucci Men’s Tailoring Campaign

Get your first look at the house’s new campaign, and its accompanying video, captured by Harmony Korine

Harry Styles. From X Factor contestant to pop phenomenon and now, fashion icon. Even in his One Direction era, Styles demonstrated his abilities as a clothes horse, something that has continued and intensified over the years – especially through his relationship with the house of Gucci. The musician and former Another Man cover star is, it would seem, a perfect embodiment of Alessandro Michele’s vision of masculinity for the brand; a vision that is at once modern and historical, elegant and extravagant, fantastical and flamboyant. Styles has worn the brand’s clothes on stage and on the red carpet alike, most recently at the 2019 Met Gala, where he modelled a custom ivory silk poplin shirt and black high waisted trousers, an oversized magenta bowtie and black patent leather boots. He’s appeared in the house’s campaigns, too – the most recent of which is unveiled today, exclusively on AnotherManmag.com.

While previous campaigns have seen Styles pose in a north London chip shop and a Roman villa, this one sees the musician model Gucci’s Pre-Fall 2019 men’s tailoring collection among “a dreamscape of statuary and paraphernalia”, including various ancient busts and antiquities – and a few furry and feathered friends. This time, he is captured by cult film- and image-maker Harmony Korine, who also made the accompanying film, which you can watch below.
