London and a sense of rebellion. These are two things that are inextricably tied to the house of Alexander McQueen. Both are exeplified in a new short film from the brand capturing the S/S18 collection. Envisioned by Masha Vasyukova, the film stars three male models – Willow Barrett, Benjamin Lessore and Chris Diena – who are shot pacing around the streets of London.
This season, Sarah Burton said she was thinking of “pioneers, explorers, going back to the elements and a sense of belonging to the world and to nature”. Featuring leathers, skinny tailoring, Prince of Charles check suiting and puffa jackets, the collection is outdoors-y while staying true to the brand’s signature dark romance – something that’s captured in this film too.
