Watch The 1975’s New Video, People, Taken From Their Next Album

Ahead of their fourth studio album, Notes on a Conditional Form, out in February 2020, The 1975 have released the latest single from the record: People. While the band is in the final stages of touring their current album, A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, around the world, this new single is a hint at what’s to come early next year. The video for People sees The 1975 perform the song in a box with riotous graphics playing out around them, the lyrics imploring the listener to “wake up, wake up, wake up!” (“We’re at this point in our career... There’s becoming ‘big’, and then there’s becoming a cartoon. I want to become a cartoon!” frontman Matty Healy told Another Man earlier this year). The first single from Notes on a Conditional FormThe 1975, was released in July and featured an essay written and recited by environmental activist Greta Thunberg, with sales profits going to climate change activist group Extinction Rebellion. Watch the video for People below.

Notes on a Conditional Form is out on February 21, 2020.
