Gucci’s New Lookbook is Shot by Legendary Street Photographer Bruce Gilden

Last week, Gucci released their Pre-Fall 2020 womenswear lookbook – starring Italian actress Benedetta Barzini and American model and activist Bethann Hardison – photographed by seminal street photographer Bruce Gilden (who also released a new monograph, Lost and Found last month). Following this, the house’s Pre-Fall 2020 menswear collection has been revealed, and is also photographed by Gilden on the streets of Rome. “What caught my eye right away is how well the male models matched Alessandro Michele’s creations,” the photographer exclusively told Another Man. “The Italian singer Achille Lauro, a very nice and polite young man, was one of them and I had great pleasure in photographing him. It was not difficult to take a good photo of him because he was so visual. The interaction between him and the clothes he was wearing was very interesting: I shot him six different times in a row and it was amazing to see how his persona changed with each outfit. I especially liked the portrait of him in the Gucci coat.” See the full collection below.
