Fashion East Is Going Co-Ed, and Has Revealed a New Line-Up

This morning, it has been announced that Fashion East – the Lulu Kennedy-led talent incubator of which Kim Jones, Jonathan Anderson and Craig Green are all alumni – will combine its mens- and womenswear into a single show, to be presented during women’s fashion week in London starting this February. “At Fashion East, we’ve never been concerned with standard gender rules on the catwalk, so it is natural for us and the progressive designers we support to make this format switch up at the start of our 20th year,” Kennedy said in a statement. Fashion East also announced the latest roster of emerging designers: making a return are menswear designer Saul Nash, footwear designer Ancuta Sarca and mens- and womenswear designer Gareth Wrighton, while GOOMHEO (menswear) and Nensi Dojaka (womenswear), both Central Saint Martins graduates, will make their debut.
