Burberry Reveals Vivienne Westwood Collaboration
- TextEmily Cameron
Burberry’s collaboration with Vivienne Westwood has finally been unveiled. With Burberry reimagining archival Westwood designs in their own iconic check, the result is a collection that exudes punk and tradition simultaneously — Britishness on Britishness. The campaign that accompanies the collection was shot in London by David Sims, featuring the combined friends of the two labels, including Kate Moss, Sistren, LadyFag and Leonard Emmanuel. The collection, as with most of Westwood’s work, also has an environmental agenda in the form of a t-shirt bearing the words “‘Cool Earth’ has a plan to save the rainforest” in her own handwriting; proceeds from which will go to towards Cool Earth’s work to stop deforestation.
