Pharrell Walks in Chanel’s Egypt-Themed New York Show
- TextEmily Cameron
Last night Pharrell took to the runway at Chanel’s Métier d’Art 2019 show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. In line with the Ancient Egyptian theme, Pharrell was dressed head-to-toe in gold, topped with a Chanel’s interpretation of a traditional Egyptian wesekh, and the same understated, Egyptian-inspired eye make as the rest of the models. The musician and Chanel ambassador joined model Alton Mason on the catwalk, as well as Karl Lagerfeld’s godson, Hudson Koenig. And Pharrell’s partnership with the house doesn’t end there – he is collaborating Lagerfeld on an exclusive capsule collection, set to be released in spring 2019.
