Recently, Nick Cave has been hosting ‘Conversations with Nick Cave’ shows, where the musician sits onstage, completely alone, and answers unfiltered and unedited questions from the audience – “an exercise in connectivity,” he calls it. “I thought that a direct conversation with the audience might be valuable – in the recent live shows, we have all shown a kind of willingness to open up,” he says. He also performs some of his songs at these events – again, alone and unaccompanied. And while Cave has brought these extraordinary events to the US, Australia and New Zealand, he’s yet to do one in the UK. Until now. Today, the Bad Seeds frontman has announced that he’ll be bringing them to Britain and Europe, with tickets going on sale this Thursday (February 21).
