Mykki Blanco to Guest Edit Dazed for the Month of August

Today, Dazed announced that Mykki Blanco, the performance artist, musician and activist, will be its guest editor for the month of August. “We’re so excited to have him onboard shining a light on his creative community and all the people in his world that inspire him,” said Thomas Gorton. “Look out on Dazed this month for features on his favourite DJs and Instagram accounts, interviews with legendary actresses, incredible video, and new music from his extended family.” Blanco also penned an editor’s letter by hand, noting the following in its opening passage: “I was so humbled when I was asked to be a guest editor for Dazed Digital. Over the years the site has been the home of some of my first artistic ventures in performance art, photography and the birth of Mykki Blanco.”
