Labyrinth Is Getting a Stage Adaptation

Labyrinth, Jim Henson’s 1986 cult classic starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly, is returning to cinemas. The film, which sees Connelly navigate a maze to her baby brother from the Goblin King (played by Bowie), is hitting select US theatres in late April/early May. Furthermore, speaking in a new interview, Henson’s son Brian revealed that the movie is getting a stage adaptation – “Not necessarily Broadway, it could be for London’s West End, but it will be a stage show, a big theatrical version,” he said. Henson also said they’re excited about the idea of a sequel to Labyrinth and “are working on something”.
