Dazed Beauty is live! The platform launched on Instagram this morning, opening with a dystopian, desertous digital landscape featuring a giant red lipstick. A website will follow on September 26 and a print supplement further down the line. A new take on beauty journalism, the platform is helmed by creative director Isamaya Ffrench, art director Ben Freeman and editorial director Bunny Kinney who says, “We’re not a beauty blog saying this is the trend of the season. We want to be talking about what beauty means in all its dimensions and not simply via putting out images.” “Beauty is always something that moves me rather than talking about a person or an aesthetic,” continues Ffrench, “It’s trying to broaden people’s mind and awareness as to what is beautiful.” Follow @dazedbeauty now and stay tuned for more.
