A First Look at Kris Van Assche’s Vision for Berluti

In April, Kris Van Assche announced that he was leaving Dior Homme – where he’d been working as Artistic Director for the past 11 years – and joining Berluti instead. While his first show for the house won’t be taking place until January of next year, this morning the designer has given a foretaste of what’s to come via a campaign. We say a foretaste – shot by Jamie Hawkesworth and art directed by M/M Paris, the campaign doesn’t actually feature any clothes, just topless models wearing shoes around their necks or off their shoulders. “For this first campaign, I wanted to create an image rooted in the maison’s origins and emboss it with my vision” Kris Van Assche commented. “See you in January.”
