You may have been too distracted by Rihanna dressed as the Pope or Lana Del Rey’s amazing Gucci headpiece to notice that Virgil Abloh previewed his first collection for Louis Vuitton at last night’s Met Gala. Photographed with Kendall Jenner, who was wearing an Off-White jumpsuit, the house’s newly-dubbed Artistic Director of Men’s Collections modelled a cream tuxedo to the event. Our first look at Virgil’s vision for Vuitton, the jacket featured a beautiful embroidered harness, while the trousers were spliced at the ankle, revealing blue and white Air Jordan 1s from his Nike “The Ten” collection.
