Gosha Unveils Four Collaborations at Russia Show

Gosha Rubchinskiy has done collaborations before but this season he’s done a Vetements, teaming up with not one but four brands. At his off-schedule show last night, staged in Yekaterinburg, Russia, the designer unveiled collaborations with adidas, Burberry, Dr. Martens and Levi’s. He also worked with a Yekaterinburg-born artist named Erik Bulatov, who designed a series of original prints for the collection, and created the backdrop for the catwalk – an artwork emblazoned with the word ‘FREEDOM’ in Cyrillic script. Overall, the message of this show wasn’t nostalgia as his previous collections have been, but the future – something that was clear to see in the modern, military-inspired cuts of his clothes.
