The Dazed 100 Has Launched, But This Time It’s Different

The 2020 – and sixth – edition of the Dazed 100 has just launched, bringing together 100 names shaping youth culture today. However, this time it’s different. This year, participants aren’t competing for recognition, they’re competing for money to fund a creative or philanthropic project. Therefore, supported by Converse, the Dazed 100 features manifestos from each participant, where they explain how they want to incite positive change in the world. Take Musician Joy Crookes for example, who wants to set up a scholarship to give young people of south Asian descent creative mentorship. Dazed and Converse will then use audience votes to help determine which creative visions become a reality, with the Dazed 100 Ideas Fund recipients to be announced on June 12, 2020.
