This Exhibition Is Your Chance to Own Unique Work by Celebrated Artists

Artists including Cory Arcangel, Anne Collier, Carsten Höller, Celia Hempton and Jeremy Deller have donated unique works as part of a benefit for Studio Voltaire, open until December 15 at 9 Cork Street, Mayfair, W1 – and online at studiovoltaire.org. For the price of a bland new car, you could commission something exceptional instead: a ‘shadow portrait’ by The Oscar Wilde Temple’s McDermott & McGough, whose previous sitters include Karl Lagerfeld, the Versace family and Princess Caroline of Hanover. Proceeds from the sale of works by over 40 artists will go straight to the Clapham gallery’s Capital Project, doubling its exhibition space and offering attainable studios for over 75 artists (42% more affordable than the current London average). The not-for-profit organisation will also launch an Associates Programme, awarding ten artists free studios and mentoring for two years.
