Marc Jacobs and Kim Jones Appear on RuPaul’s Podcast

Marc Jacobs and Kim Jones were guests on this week’s episode of RuPaul’s podcast RuPaul: What's the Tee?. Speaking from DragCon NYC, the pair spoke to Mother Ru about everything from fashion and their jobs as designers to their inspirations and staying sane in such an insane industry. Jones speaks about his decision to leave Louis Vuitton and join Dior, emphasising that it was his decision, stemming from his desire to stay inspired. “It’s important for you to keep excited about stuff, I love Vuitton as a brand and everyone I worked with, but I wanted to do something different,” he says. The designer also talks about his archive of London-based designers from 1971-1985, including Leigh Bowery of whom he has 40 outfits. Listen to the episode here.
